The Instagram Rich List began in 2017, and last year it came for the fourth year in succession. We all know how difficult the year 2020 was because of COVID 19 as the whole world came to a standstill. The effect of pandemic was quite pronounced on the world economy because for the first time in the list’s history there has been a drop in fees for influencers on Instagram.
Marketers and brands have reduced influencer budgets due to the impact of the Coronavirus, and even the highest earners were not spared. It’s not only on the Instagram where the income of influencers has suffered but also on the lesser-known channels such as CoNnEcTd India, and Houseparty.
Surprisingly, it happened for the first time that a Kardashian or a Jenner hasn’t taken the top spot in the list, following controversy regarding Kylie Jenner’s billionaire status earlier this year.
